Checkbox, to verify the accuracy of your earth (ground) resistance tester in the field. Check the accuracy of your test meter and leads quickly and easily to give you the confidence that your earth tester is functioning correctly when in use, and between calibrations.
3 separate resistance values (1, 10 & 100 Ohms) to accurately simulate earth resistance values, that should be displayed on your earth test meter when the respective button is depressed on the checkbox.
The checkbox can be plugged directly into your meter to test the meter's accuracy. It can also be connected to the remote end of your test leads so that the accuracy of your whole apparatus can be verified in-situ.
It can be used with all 2-pole, 3-pole and 4-pole earth resistance test meters (including LEM/Fluke 1653, 1654, 1663,1664, Megger MFT1730, 1731, Megger DET2/2, DET2/3, DET3/2, DET5/2, DET3, DET4, Fluke Geo, 1621, 1623, 1625, Kewtech KT65DL, etc......
The checkbox is equipped with shrouded 4mm male banana connectors that can plug directly into most modern test meters. Adapters are included to use the checkbox with older earth testers that can only accept unshrouded 4mm banana connectors, or screw-down binding post connectors. Adapters are also included to connect the checkbox into the 4mm male plugs (or crocodile clips) at the remote end of your long earth test leads.
